Ubique Alloys Pvt. Ltd is a prominent exporter and trader of Titanium Alloy Grade 2 / Grade 5 Sheets and Plates, which offers excellent resistance to general and overall corrosion. Due to its niobium content in Titanium Grade 2 Sheets, the risk of sensitization for intergranular corrosion is strongly reduced when compared to other austenitic CrNi standard grades with normal carbon content. Titanium Grade 2 Plates has a high resistance to prolonged heat and corrosion making it well suited for engine, power generation, welded fabrications and other high heat applications. Titanium Grade 2 Coils displays high workability under most common welding techniques. Exposure in the 800 Degree F to 1500 Degree F (427 Degree C to 816 Degree C) temperature range lowers the overall corrosion resistance of Titanium Grade 5 Sheets to a much greater extent. Titanium Grade 5 Plates shows an excellent high temperature performance, and is one of the most commonly used grades.
Titanium Grade 5 Coils is used for applications where alloys such as 304 are vulnerable to intergranualr corrosion. Grade 2 Titanium Sheets and Plates offers good mechanical properties with higher creep and stress rupture characteristics than other grades. Grade 5 Titanium Sheets and Plates can be treated with heat, however, it will not respond, where only cold working is sufficient to increase its toughness and strength.
